The moment I stepped into the lobby at The DoubleTree by Hilton in Claremont I felt like a welcomed guest.

The employees were friendly and helpful.

Of course, there were also delicious chocolate chip cookies waiting for me!

The hotel is on Foothill Boulevard, which is also historic Route 66. There is food and entertainment within walking distance. Claremont Village, the colleges and the botanic garden are all just a short drive away.

My room was great! The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of space to relax and get work done. I had a private patio with table and chairs in a peaceful garden area. There was a nice chair with footstool, desk, dresser, TV, mini fridge and coffee and tea supplies. Wifi was speedy and there was no outdoor noise to disrupt my stay.

The pool and spa area were great for adults who wanted to lounge and kids who wanted to play. The whole property has lush landscaping that creates a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere for both business and pleasure travelers.

The Orchard restaurant is on site. They serve a breakfast buffet and have regular menus for lunch, dinner and appetizers. You can eat indoors or outside on the patio, which is also a great place to hang out even if you aren’t eating.

I enjoyed my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton and will look for this brand on future travels. They’ve thought of all the little details that make a hotel stay extra nice.
