Vitagliano Winery
I’ve been a member of Travel Massive for quite some time, but hadn’t yet attended an in person event. This month I jumped at the chance to go to their lunch at Vitagliano Vineyards and Winery in Temecula Wine Country.
I love to travel in my home state of California and it had been awhile since I had been to Temecula. It’s a short drive from San Diego, Los Angeles or Orange County, so it’s perfect for a day trip. However, you can also turn it into an extended vacation that feels as if you have escaped your daily stress and traveled far away.
Vitagliano is both an event center and a wine tasting destination. The property is gorgeous and is great for weddings, parties and corporate events, which can be held during the day or after dark. The wine tasting room is open limited hours, so that it won’t interrupt events.
The family owned vineyard specializes in Tuscan style wine and the property has an Italian look, as well. My favorite ended up being the very first wine I tasted, the 2014 Dolce Rosa. It is sweet and fruity, which was just right for this sunny day.
