Travel is wonderful for all of us. It can expand our horizons with new experiences and create lasting memories with family, friends and the people we meet along the way. Money is a big factor for people who scale down their plans or never get beyond the dreaming stage, so I always love it when I find new ways to save on travel.
Most of us are already familiar with the deals you can purchase on Groupon for discounted travel, activities and meals. Did you know that they also have an extensive collection of Groupon Coupons that you can use for travel on other well known websites?
When I’m planning a trip and looking for hotels, I often head to Hotels.com. In addition to their discounted prices, they have other helpful details about the hotels, photos and reviews from guests about their experiences at the property. I don’t generally choose the cheapest hotel, but I do want to get a good price on the hotel that is the best fit for me.
This is where Groupon comes in. By checking their site for coupons first, I can often get additional savings or bonus offers beyond their regular discounts. It only takes a moment and I don’t need to buy anything directly from Groupon or even log into my Groupon account. I just check the site to see if they currently have any coupons or offers that will apply to whatever it is that I want to purchase. Easy peasy.
